Tour of the UI
This page walks through the main areas of the Novant interface so you know where to find things.
My Projects
When you sign in, you land on My Projects — a list of every project you have access to. Click a project name to open it.
Organization View
The organization view is where you manage your team and settings. The top navigation bar provides tabs for:
- Projects — all projects in your organization
- Members — everyone in your organization
- Settings — organization configuration (admin only)
Inside a Project
Once you open a project, the top navigation bar gives you access to every major area:
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Home | Dashboard overview with summary cards and quick links. |
| Zones | Manage operational groupings such as HVAC or lighting zones. |
| Spaces | Manage the physical layout — floors, rooms, and areas. |
| Assets | Manage equipment — AHUs, VAVs, meters, sensors, and other devices. |
| Sources | View and configure the devices and services your node connects to. |
| Blocks | Work with the block model that ties spaces, zones, assets, and sources together. |
| Tasks | Track commissioning items, maintenance issues, and follow-ups. |
| Trends | View and analyze historical point data. |
| Drive | File storage for project documents and attachments. |
| Explorer | Browse and discover devices and points on your network. |
| Settings | Configure project details, team access, nodes, credentials, and more. |
Account Menu
Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner to access:
- Profile — your personal account settings (name, email, password)
- My Organizations — switch between organizations or create a new one
- Sign Out
