Zones

Zones represent logical regions within a building that are defined by system programming or control boundaries, such as HVAC zones, lighting zones, or fire alarm zones. Unlike physical spaces, zones are typically based on how systems are configured to operate and may span multiple rooms or areas.

Zones support metadata and relationships to both spaces and assets, enabling a layered understanding of system coverage and operational context.
